At The Reet Good Collective, we're committed to supporting projects that strengthen communities, preserve military heritage and improve opportunities for veterans and those connected to the Armed Forces community.
Recently, we were delighted to award a grant to the Liverpool Scottish Pipe Band, helping them continue the incredible work they do for veterans, families and local communities.
What stood out to us wasn't just the music. It was the dedication, commitment and service that sits behind it.
The band regularly supports community events, charity fundraisers and Armed Forces organisations, helping raise awareness and bring people together through music and tradition. They also give their time to support veteran-focused causes, providing a meaningful presence at commemorative events and activities throughout the year.
One area that particularly resonated with us was the support they provide to veterans and their families. Whether helping families honour loved ones who have served, celebrating important milestones for veterans, or bringing music and companionship to care home residents, their work reflects the values of respect, remembrance and community that are so important to us.
Our grant will contribute towards the band's efforts to replace ageing drums that have served them for many years. While it may seem like a simple piece of equipment, the reality is that these instruments are essential to enabling the band to continue performing, supporting events and maintaining traditions that mean so much to those involved.
This support is ultimately an investment in people. It's about ensuring that veterans remain connected, that military heritage continues to be celebrated, and that communities can continue to benefit from the work the band carries out.
Looking ahead, band members are also hoping to take part in commemorative activities in Belgium, honouring those who served and ensuring future generations continue to remember the sacrifices that have shaped our history. Supporting organisations that keep these traditions alive is an important part of our mission.
At The Reet Good Collective, we believe the strongest communities are built through connection, purpose and service. The Liverpool Scottish Pipe Band embodies those values, and we're proud to play a small part in supporting their journey.
Most importantly, this grant was made possible through the support of our customers and supporters.
Every purchase from Beltin Pet Treats helps fund projects like this, allowing us to support veterans, strengthen communities and invest in organisations that continue to make a real difference.
Together, we're showing that everyday purchases can create lasting impact.
From all of us at The Reet Good Collective, we wish the Liverpool Scottish Pipe Band every success and look forward to seeing the positive difference they continue to make in the years ahead. 🇬🇧🎵🐾
